Publication of information regarding items specified by
Rule 4(1) b (xv) of the Right to Information Act, 2005

(xv) The
particulars of facilities available to citizens for
obtaining information, including the working hours
of a library or reading room, if maintained for public
use;
Law Officer and Field Officer
listen to NRIs daily from 10.00 AM to 5.00 P.M. In
case of further query, Executive Director is consulted
for guidance. Water, Tea and seating arrangements have
been made for the visiting NRIs. Patient hearing is
given and they are properly guided. The complaints are
received from the NRIs and submitted to the concerned
Head of Department. On receipt of report from the
concerned officers, the same is conveyed to the
complainants within the shortest timeframe. The
complaints received through e-mails are replied through
e-mail.
Photostat machine is available in
the office for the convenience of NRIs. Photo copies of
the complaints or passports are done free of cost to the
NRIs.
The NRIs who wish to become
members of the Sabha, they are helped in filling up
their membership form etc.
NRIs can visit the office between
the following timings, except for holidays/Sundays :-
Monday to Friday - 10.00 A.M. to 5.00
P.M.
Saturday - 10.00 A.M.
to 2.00 P.M.
The newspapers of English, Hindi and Punjabi languages
are placed in the office of the Sabha and the visiting
NRIs can read the same. NRI newsletter is also
available for the information of NRIs.
