Mode of Filing Application and Appeal
A request for obtaining the information as per Section
6(1) shall be accompanied by an application fee of Rs.
10/-, and information copy @ Rs. 2/- per page, by way of
cash against proper receipt or by demand draft or
banker’s cheque in favor of NRI Sabha Punjab payable at
Jalandhar. A hard copy of the application with the
applicant’s signature, and in the following format with
the declaration of citizenship, along with the fee,
should be sent to the APIO. Thereafter, if need be, the
appeals should be addressed to the PIO/Appellate
Authority. No fees will be charged from people living
below the poverty line.
